Contributions to a new food culture
Welcome to the Forum for Holistic Vegetarian Cooking Art. We are an initiative that aims to deepen our relationship with food and food crops, thereby contributing to a new food culture. To this end, we meet regularly online in the Telegram group Holistic Vegetarian Cooking Art1, as well as in real life in the small village of Lundo in Trentino, Italy. There, in collaboration with spiritual teacher Heinz Grill, we explore a healing and aesthetic culinary art, particularly in the contemporary preparation of the seven grains and buckwheat. We also develop menus and recipes for a holistic and vegetarian cooking culture. Salad culture, harmonious protein components, the preparation of vegetables taking into account their characteristic vitality or rather their ethereal structure, and last but not least, the diverse applications of BackNaturFerment – these are all areas we deal with.
Spiritual and natural science
Udo Renzenbrink’s findings on the seven types of grain form the basis for this research and learning, as do Heinz Grill’s explanations in the book Ernährung und die gebende Kraft des Menschen (English translation is actually prepared). But of course, we do not neglect scientific findings and incorporate knowledge of the principles of various nutritional styles, such as macrobiotics, Ayurveda, Mediterranean diet, and others, into our discussions. We regularly present the results of our research in our blog. If you don’t want to miss anything, simply sign up for our monthly newsletter!2
Nutrition and peace work
We also look beyond our own horizons and take an interest in the culinary arts of other countries, be it India, Georgia or Argentina, to name but a few. Our experience during the 2024 Künstlertage and during two trips to Romania has shown that awareness of other countries is directly linked to a crescent peace work.
Nutrition and world hunger
We believe that a modern diet cannot be separated from ecological and economic principles. The use of local products, the preference for organic quality, the mindful handling of food, carefully considered purchasing and economical storage are further areas we are working on, in the conviction that this can have an impact on the overall situation of hunger in the world.
Internship and training
Anyone who would like to participate in this work and acquire knowledge about holistic vegetarian cuisine can register for a simple introductory course, for example as part of a holiday in Italy, or a targeted three-day internship. For those who already have experience in holistic vegetarian cooking, we offer a two-year training course to become a holistic vegetarian chef.
Regeneration and nutrition
Regardless of researching food, learning to cook and teaching the art of cooking, we would like to cordially invite anyone who needs regeneration, perhaps because they have just recovered from a serious illness or a long period of stress: in cooperation with the Sun Oasis Naone, we offer one-week regeneration stays under medical supervision. A healing, aesthetic, strengthening, centring and regenerating diet is an essential pillar in any regeneration phase.
Our website is still under construction, but there is a lot going on! So check back soon and recommend the site to your friends and acquaintances. We also welcome donations to support our teaching and research activities!
With kind regards,
The Lundo Reseaerch Kitchen Team
