We recommend that the internship lasts between one and two weeks.
However, individual arrangements are possible.

How to create a healing power in food?

“At the heart of the Forum for Holistic Vegetarian Cooking Art lies the idea of offering nourishing food for people. One may even assume that the menus on offer have a therapeutic effect due to the method of preparation, which is rooted in a spiritual approach. Food is elevated to a higher level through the work of consciousness. How can this healing power be created? We explore the subtle life forces inherent in the food itself and those forces that arise during the cooking process and affect physical and mental health, and we develop our ‘healthful menus’ based on this knowledge.” (Ursula Rütimann)

What are the basics in learning?

We conduct this research and exploration of the living etheric forces in nature, in food, and in the preparation of meals in direct dialogue with the spiritual teacher Heinz Grill.

His work Nutrition and the Inner sense of Giving also forms an essential foundation for our studies. Additional reading and core content include operas by the anthroposophical physicians Udo Renzenbrink and Rudolf Hauschka, as well as texts on Ayurveda, vegetarian and vegan nutrition and gluten-free diets.

What makes this internship special?

In the vast world of nutritional theories, there is certainly no need for yet another, “better” diet. The Forum for Holistic Vegetarian Culinary Arts focuses its work on the individual and their relationship to food. A broader understanding of the possibilities of culinary art—based on a holistic view of the human being and a study of edible plants—remains independent of any specific dietary method or diet and can thus serve as a meaningful deepening of one’s current dietary habits for many people.

Who is this internship suitable for?

This internship is designed for people who want to learn about wholesome and aesthetically pleasing nutrition based on whole grains and vegetarian, organic foods, as well as the principles of their preparation.
Interested individuals can participate in cooking for a period of one to two weeks and explore the deeper relationship between people and food.

What opportunities are available after the internship?

Those who wish to deepen their knowledge and skills following the internship have the opportunity to enroll in a one-year basic course in Holistic Vegetarian Cooking Art.

What about the costs?

The cost of accommodation is borne by the trainee. Two full meals a day are provided free of charge.

Which accomodation facilities are there?

There are plenty of guest houses and hostels of various types in the surrounding area. We are happy to help you find suitable accommodation nearby.
